Slides :: Collectors' Circle Studio Visits

  • Intro.jpg

On February 6 BAM/PFA Director Larry Rinder, Chief Curator Lucinda Barnes, and MATRIX Curator Elizabeth Thomas joined 25 members of our Collectors’ Circle for a lively and engaging afternoon of visits to the studios of three exciting Bay Area artists: photographer Paul Schiek, photographer Jim Goldberg, and interdisciplinary artist Lucas Murgida. The Collectors’ Circle group worked closely with Larry and our curators to identify these three artists as those whose work will be acquired for the museum’s collection this year-and our members were eager to learn more about them. The next step in the acquisition process, the studio visit, was even more inspiring than we expected. We’re already looking forward to next year.

I have noticed that in old digital cameras, exceptional devices help to target automatically. Those sensors regarding some cams change in contrast, while others work with a beam associated with infra-red (IR) light, specially in low lumination. Higher spec cameras at times use a mixture of both programs and will often have Face Priority AF where the video camera can 'See' the face while keeping your focus only upon that. Thank you for sharing your opinions on this website.
